Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.
The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.
This June 2024, we’re introducing three new monitoring connectors and a few fixes on existing ones.

3 new monitoring connectors were added to the catalog this month
Mosquitto MQTT Broker
Mosquitto is an open-source MQTT server (Broker) that allows you to simply use the MQTT protocol. This protocol consists of an MQTT server to which clients can connect to publish or subscribe to topics. Messages published on topics can be exchanged between clients. The Mosquitto MQTT Broker monitoring connector allows you to check client statistics, message statistics, check a particular topic and the uptime.
Loggly RestAPI
SolwarWind Loggly is a cloud-based log management and analytics service provider. With the Loggly RestAPI monitoring connector, you can count events matching a query or unique field values from events matching a query.
Telegraf Agent Windows
The Telegraf Agent Windows monitoring connector allows you to monitor a Windows host using the Telegraf Agent interfaced with Centreon. The Centreon Telegraf Agent is a proof of concept offered in beta. This monitoring connector allows you to check synchronization with an NTP server, the number of active sessions, pending updates as well as Windows restart requests.
Bug Fixes
Datacore RestAPI
Fixed API path in pools check and added verbosity in monitoring Datacore “monitors” objects.
Protocole HTTP
A community contribution fixed the infinite loop collection mode when the “parse” attribute is not defined and another anomaly causing an unknown error message.
Windows SNMP
Fixed a problem encountered with Windows services containing brackets, which were blocking export during discovery. Such brackets will now be automatically replaced by square brackets to avoid this problem.
Enhancements
Hashicorp Vault RestAPI
Added an option to handle variable paths for hashicorp vault authentication. This enhancement comes from a community contribution.
Protocole HTTP
A community contribution added the possibility for collection mode to use the “full_url” and “functions” attributes.
Trendmicro IWSVA
Addition of a disk partition discovery rule coupled with occupied space monitoring.
Breaking changes
Kadiska RestAPI
Kadiska RestAPI monitoring connector will no longer be supported and will be deprecated.
Trendmicro IWSVA
Trendmicro IWSVA monitoring connector packaging correction and threshold option macros naming fixed resulting in a breaking change.
